One of the most pleasant people you will ever meet, Dr. David Graybill is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist at AOA who has been practicing interventional pain management for over 30 years.

Dr. Graybill received his Osteopathic Degree from Des Moines University in 1980 and completed his Anesthesia Residency at Dallas/Fort Worth Medical Center in 1982. His practice focuses on non-operative treatment of spine disorders, including epidural steroid injections, facet injections and radio frequency ablations to the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.

Dr. Graybill is from Lamoni, Iowa. When he has free time outside of work, he enjoys Outdoor Sports and leisure activities such as relaxing on his back porch by the fire. When asked what his perfect day would be, Dr. Graybill replied, “In the middle of nowhere on an extreme hunt for dangerous game.”

Dr. Daniels received his Doctor of Medicine and internship in internal medicine at the University of Texas at Houston in 1998 and 1999. In the same year, he also started his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, which he completed in 2002.

Although Dr. Daniels had a childhood ambition of becoming an FBI agent, he thoroughly enjoys what he does for a living now and takes pride in the care he provides to his patients.

Originally from Houston, Dr. Adam Crawford specializes in total joint arthroplasty, cartilage restoration techniques, and all types of fracture care (with a unique sub-specialty interest in foot and ankle surgery.)

He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center in May of 2007, his Residency at the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2012, and his fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery in 2013 at the world-renown Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX.

Between his busy schedule of work and spending time with his family, including his wonderful wife Christina and his 3 children Cameron, Joel and Jonah, Dr. Crawford is an accomplished photographer and has parts of his collection displayed prominently in our AOA Irving Clinic. He participates in a multitude of activities such as hiking, swimming, running, and watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

When asked what his perfect day would consist of, Dr. Crawford replied simply, “Hanging out at home with my family, going to the park with my kids, or smoking a brisket and watching the Cowboys win.”

Originally from Eastern Nevada, Dr. Jeffrey Carter is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery. He graduated from Medical School at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO in 1980. Dr. Carter completed his internship in St. Louis in 1981 and later his residency at Brentwood Hospital (Warrensville Heights, Ohio.)

Dr. Carter served in the United States Armed Forces as a General Medicine Officer at Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona and Fort Benning, Georgia and as an Emergency Room Physician at Martin Army Community Hospital. Dr. Carter currently treats various conditions ranging from fractures, dislocations, derangement, and sprains. He has been practicing for over 20 years and offices exclusively at our Arlington location.

Outside of work, Dr. Carter maintains a healthy and active lifestyle by playing golf and running. He enjoys being an orthopedic surgeon and takes pride in the care he provides his patients, but he also takes pride in his family when he’s home.

After graduating from Princeton University in June of 2003, he received his Doctor of Medicine at Vanderbilt School of Medicine in May of 2008. Dr. Atkinson completed his Orthopedic Residency at Vanderbilt Department of Orthopaedics in June of 2013 and Fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand Center at Thomas Jefferson University in July of 2014.

In addition to his medical accomplishments, Dr. Atkinson is also a multi-talented athlete. As a running back for Princeton University, he excelled both on and off the field. His love of sports transitions into a lifelong passion for strength and weight training. As a proud family man, Dr. Atkinson loves retelling patients the story his favorite memory – when he asked his wife to marry him. In his free time, he enjoys sitting in his office reading historical biographies and watching his favorite television show, the medical comedy, Scrubs.

Originally from Rockwall, Texas; Dr. Andrew Freese specializes in Sports Medicine in all ages at AOA Orthopedic Specialists.

After receiving his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2008, Dr. Freese graduated the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Indiana University in 2017 and spent an additional year of specialty fellowship-training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the University of Iowa.

A lifelong Sports Fan and multi-sport Athlete, Dr. Freese proudly served as a Team Physician for the University of Iowa’s football, basketball, and baseball athletic programs and will be working with University of Texas at Arlington as a Team Physician with AOA. He aims to support any and all athletic programs in North Texas as well as offers cutting-edge Sports Science approaches to complex Sports Injuries.
